deer, birds, bears, snakes, possibly beavers or otters or shrews or voles or other sort of rodent things, but that's only if you somehow hiked in the dark or dawn/sunset because a lot of animals aren't out during the middle of the day as much.

ive seen bears twice now, there's also a cool wildlife center for animals that used to or currently live in West Virginia in French Creek:
