Some examples jut for an idea:
Learn to recognize plant species so you don't waste time on shit land.
If you inspect the land in the dry season and he only plants you find are swamp grass species, that tell you once it rains it will be me a flood plane.
Some plants thrive in sandy soil.
If you only have a single species of tree it might be because the soil has been stripped of nutrients from generations of logging and nothing else will grow.
If a field has noticeable amounts of exposed dirt then theres a reason. Is it because the area was recently logged? Or not enough rainfall? Or is the soil so dead that even weeds won't grow.
