>>190165Not sure on the exact timeframe dates, but about a couple years back or so, 5.11 posted an April Fool's day product advertisement video about a "Tactical Kilt" on their site. Only the upper crust of the company knew it was a joke. But the video got so much positive feedback that they went and made a limited run of the kilts, which were apparently amazing for the price.
So amazing that Scruffy Wallace of Dropkick Murphy's made a video a year or so after the fact for the CEO of 5.11, calling him out to bring the kilts back. So sure enough they ran a second limited run of the kilts, in more colors than the last time too, I think. Same price, and they donated to a portion to Scruffy's charity "We Salute You Veterans" as well.
I'm hoping they do another run, I'd like to get my hands on one if I could.
