So the aril of yewberries are non poisonous. Is there anyway they could be poisonous without eatimg the seeds? I feel dizzy and jittery and cant tell if im in danger or manifesting symtoms based on fear.

The aril of yew berries is widely considered to be edible and safe aslong as you DO NOT eat the seed. Children have been eating it since the 1500s.

Yew is crazy.. I was shearing some yew hedges at a garden where I was working, and I got part of ONE needle in my mouth and accidentally bit down on it.. It was super bitter and within a couple minutes, my lips and nose were inflamed and on fire. Apparently when it's hot they can even off-gas the toxin they produce.. I read there was old lore about not sleeping under a yew tree and that might be why.
