I know that this question is kinda stupid, but I feel like a weirdo going alone anywhere, and the people that I come across whit laught at me

No one laughs at you if you go /out/ alone. If anything they see you as some crazy survivorman-style badass. Most normies are scared shitless of le spoopy dark woods. Can't tell you how many people I've had tell me they would never go camping alone without a gun. You can try explaining that the forest is safer than the city, but it's useless.

Trust me, it inspires more respect and envy in others than mockery.

Then getting outdoors is perfect for you.
Nobody's going to judge you. In fact, it's probably the opposite - if I see a group of people out, I immediately think they're a bunch of can't-do city dwellers that have no clue, and there's one among them shepherding the rest. Whether they actually know what they're doing or have just convinced the group they do is always a mystery to me.

It should be, but where I live there isn't that much nature, and hiking is very popular, special after the confinament. It's a shame cause I love being in the alone woods, and I feel uncomfortable around strangers, specially being alone

Going /out/ alone is great. A lot of my best /out/ experiences have been like that. It's really exhilirating being self-reliant and cut off from civilisation, if onyl for a couple of days. It also gets you away from all the noise and distractions of life, and really gives you perspective to think about things. Would strongly recommend.

I have this issue as well anon except I’m married. My wife is a huge cityfag and besides light hiking trips would never agree to go /out. The area I live is pretty trash and I would need to travel up to 4 hours to go anywhere worthwhile. Hoping to get out more when I move down to North GA.

I love the oppurtunity to /out/ alone, I trail run with my brother when I can but its different to when I run in the trails and mountains by myself. I can push myself as hard as i can, I don't have to worry about routes or deviating, or time constraints. Its best enjoyed as a solitary experience imo

For me, just touching a dog turns my hands red and itchy for a few hours. If they get near my face, my eyes itch and water, my nose starts running, and my breathing becomes very constricted. Not things I want to experience while /out/.

(There are no meds to pre-emptively treat pet allergies as severe as mine. Best I can do is take an antihistamine after exposure and wait for it to take effect... and then fall asleep.)
