What are you actually using the axe for? Pounding wedges to drop trees? Get something shorter with a pinned head, bright colored handle and painted head so you don't lose it in the foliage.
Splitting wood? Wood carving?
I don't have the brand of axe I use but you don't need some $100 swedish axe unless you want to treat yourself.
