The internal spring and lower quality control, and non-locking 2endary tools just seem like a liability. Look into the Blast(in my EDC pic) or Fuse if cash is tight. If you have more to spend, than the Wave or Surge would be great. Dont bother with the Charge, as its just the Wave with fancy scales and a better blade(Which you shouldn't rely on anyway, since a fixed blade should do 99% of your work)
The folding blade is a blade tech ganyana lite. I think they pop up on ebay every now and than for around $30. Same level of quality as a Ontario Rat one or Kabar Dozier(which can both prob. be found cheaper). I picked it out mostly because of the blade profile and thickness. Would have prefered the orange handled one, but I had to settle on getting the last one(which was green)
