Seriously why don't these guys on shows like Alone who are in big game territory take a boar spear ? You can take all big game with it black bears moose you name it. It just takes some guts but once you got your kill you are set for weeks plus you get nice hides. With a spear like this you are the King and at the top of the food chain in the wild. Oh some stupid bears decide to come near you ? Don't flee but fight. Roar and run up to them and stab em. The bears curiosity is what makes them easy targets
