Hey, /out/, I'm pretty new to this board. I'm from Michigan, and I'm really interested in going out with a backpack and seeing how I fare in the woods for a couple of days. Does anybody know where I'd go to do that?

I've never actually been to the UP during my 6 years in Michigan. The closest I've been is a city about halfway up the state. I'm near Detroit. Is there property in the UP specifically open for that?

Good because the nignogs ruin all the land up in the UP. They leave beer bottles around, fuck up the trees and landscape, and leave tons of chairs and junk and cigarette packs everywhere.

Remember to keep the woods clean and free of trash and don't piss in the lakes or streams and you'll be fine.

The nignog culture - especially in Detroit - is HIGHLY volatile. It ruins anything it comes in contact with.
I one time caught a nignog from Detroit spray painting a fucking 80 year old tree that I loved to relax under.
They have NO regard to anything but themselves.
