What are some of the best affordable /out/ towns? Places like Denver and Seattle or even Bend OR are out since the housing is retarded. Affordable is having multiple houses for sale right now in the metro area that are sub 300k (sub 200 even better) that you could actually live in.

Must haves are multiple /out/ things whether that be skiing, mtb, hiking, hunting etc. in the immediate area. (not 2.5 hours away)
