The fossil record of primates is so sparse, we know more about dinosaurs than the recent ancestors of chimpanzees (whose first fossil evidence, a couple of teeth, were discovered in 2005)
Look at the leg muscles there
Look at the ape suits of the time (or even of today) they all look like shit. That thing in OP pic.. I think it is a flesh and blood organism.
