Im thinking of travelling across America sometime soon. What are the best /out/ places to visit? Im considering the Grand Canyon. I wont have a time limit and I want to do a lot of camping and exploring while I can.

Any tips on road tripping would also be appreciated. I'll be living in a car for most of the trip.

You should visit as many national parks and forests in the West as you can. You can't go wrong with any of them, but the typical "must see" places usually include yosemite, yellowstone, rocky mountain, and grand canyon. I've never been to yellowstone so I can't speak to it but the other places are all stunningly beautiful.
If you're in the East, just hit up the Appalachians

If I were you I'd put it off until the covid lockdown is over. Lots of places will be closed, re-upping on supplies will be a challenge, rangers will tell you to fuck off. It's a hassle going out right now in murrca.
