So long as it is a species capable of reproduction through layering. Not all trees will throw out roots that way. Some cedars will.

yes, most anything in the Salix genus. they will root out and walk, same as the Rosa genus, and many others.

I found a place in the forest where many trees or branches are bent. Even my horse don't want to stand there, she's very fidgety near that place and if I leave her loose, she just go away... strange
