Regarding expanding mining or drilling - i could go either way on this - it’s something that needs to be taken on a case by case basis. If the gain from the resources is worth it compared to the land or sea value, then what’s the problem. Not all land is some super, species diverse, large tract that needs to be protected. And you still haven’t provided any examples of this actually happening.

The only thing that is the least bit controversial in it is the arctic wildlife refuge part, which I haven’t had a chance to see what the rule actually says or what areas it’s planning on opening for exploratory drilling.
