Apprarently it’s some antibody in their blood and ticks who drink from deer also no longer have the bacteria either. 98 percent of white footed deer mice have Lyme but it doesn’t affect them I guess. Lyme disease is just a chronic inflammation response the bacteria itself doesn’t do anything to us.
