1: caves are dangerous as fuck. real easy to die in one if you don't know what you're doing.
2: caves are fragile places. formations that have taken 100k years to form are destroy just by a touch. and everyone that enters the cave is bring in new outside contaminants
3:publicly posting the location of a cave is a good way to turn into a party spot for teenagers and druggies. so instead of a natural cave, you have a hole in the ground full of beer cans and human waste.
4:did I mention that most caves are dangerous? you don't want to enter most caves simply because they're so unstable. a cave in shale or clay isn't like a cave in limestone and granite. the composition of a cave can change as you move through it. you do know how to watch for those changes, right anon?
