Nice. There's a little bit of bush (probably no more than 10 acres) near where I live, I go walking in there occasionally. One dingus/one group of dinguses have set up a shitass blue tarp fort in the middle of a creek bed maybe 50 meters off the "trail" (it's barely a trail, more like a park with a bike track that just ends after about 100m). I'm looking forward to checking in to find it swamped since storm season has just come around, or finding a snake sleeping in there or something.
In the same spit of bush, following a small brook that's normally dry but is now running after some storms I found another, significantly better setup. I don't think it's the same person/people, since this one looks like it's competently carpented. There was a shovel and a ladder sitting around a small clearing that had been swept of branches leaving a nice flat, with a nice circular area. It looks like their plan is to make some chairs and a proper little fort there. They were even halfway through constructing a little platform made of sticks to bridge the brook. It would be a pretty nice spot, but much too close to the park/trail for my personal tastes. Anyone walking by would hear you sawing shit and breaking branches, and maybe even see your fire. Anyway this one looks like whoever made it started it very recently, so I'm interested to check in on it and see how it comes along. Might even snap a few pics to post later.
