What's cold wilderness really like? As a socal cuck, I can only experience it if I go up to the ski resorts during a storm.
I remember once I was riding with my father on a ski lift, and the wind got really bad. We could barely see our own skis dangling off our feet, not that I wanted to even look down. It was so cold, I felt my heart about to stop, I had never been that cold before. Every time the wind hit me I braced myself for a heart attack.
That's the coldest I ever been, and it was not fun. But still I am drawn to cold places. I may have genetic memory of being in an abandoned cold place, because I often have vivid dreams of walking through them. I don't wanna die going out there, so tell me what it's like to be /out/ in the /cold/.
