What's your preferred setup for a hammock in cool/cold weather? I'm using an underquilt and wool blanket, and I'm going to be pinning up the footbox so there isn't any issue with the blanket coming undone. I also have an emergency blanket that I can use.
I understand that wool is heavy, but the blanket I have is somewhat light, under 5lbs, and it's 100% wool. I do know that sleeping bags are lighter, but I also don't want to have to worry about zippers, or spending a bunch of money of a down TQ or sleeping bag.
TL;DR -
I'm using a wool blanket and a synthetic-filled underquilt for my hammock setup. Do you have any ideas/links to some good alternatives that are budget-oriented?
Pic related, it's my pack.
