I just moved from deep south USA to western Canada and I'm really struggling with cold weather camping.
I'm fine staying warm during the day and falling asleep, but I wake up in the middle of the night bone cold, even if I go to bed fully clothed in wool. I'm not forgetting the ground mat, bivvy tent, or any other retard mistakes.
Any tips and tricks for staying warm through the night? Especially for alpine winter camping.
