I hate the wind. Doesn't matter if it is sunny, raining, warm, or cold. It gives me a headache and makes me very anxious/angry to be /out/ in relentless wind.

my health
i have Osteopetrosis and have had 4 hip fractures (2 each side) to the femur head, also one break of my lower femur right side, and broken ankle on the right side
im only still affected by the hip breaks, particularly my right side
it makes it so that i REALLY need to pay attention to if my hip starts hurting, even slightly, because i know from experiance, that if i just ignore it and push on like i want to, i will be absolutely fucked the next day, so ive adapted to hikes where i cover less distance, per day, but make more frequent stops or camps along routes, i was never into hiking as, like a sport, where you see how far/fast you can go anyway so its not much of a loss in that regard

my time spent in wheelchairs sure as fuck cemented my love for the outdoors and the simple action of walking

my other breaks doesnt affect me, like collar bone, ribs arm, fingers and toes

also, increasing the risk of stressing a hip is that, due multiple breaks, long times spent is casts, long time in wheelchair etc, one of my legs is longer then the other, i have a shoe insert but it still a factor

Yes.
i work around it, and i am damn well going to get the most out of the time ive got
and i take every opportunity i get to go /out/
i am outwardly pretty healthy, but i know how easily mobility can be taken away from me, so i am very conscious, and thankful for it
then there is the whole risk thing, with increased risk of injury and honestly, fuck that, im gonna die, im gonna end up in a wheelchair, might as well use theese years to get /out/

I am literally allergic to sun rays
it's possible to protect myself either by clothes or by putting on sunscreen all the time but then the trip becomes all about not getting fucked up by the sun. March to August it's really bad, but I go on short hikes when I can. In late september it gets ok, so fall and winter are my seasons

always feared i was alone in this, i just can't stand the wind either
first i thought it was because of my ears being exposed but even with a proper hat it just hurts my sinuses somehow, i can stand frost and cold weather in general just fine but when the wind starts it's pretty much guaranteed to suck

It's not so bad during watersports, but it absolutely kills the vibe during backpacking. Even with pack covers/rain gear that shit still finds a way to get you cold and sad.

The weather. I’m in Louisiana.

Imagine a regular, daily routine. Leave for work early in the morning and it’s already super hot before the sun has risen. Leave work, go to the gym, swing by the grocery store in the late afternoon... still sweltering hot. Get home, cook dinner, do laundry, take the trash out at night... still hot. There’s no break, no cool front, no unexpected drop in temps. The low temp is in the upper 70’s for months in end. I traveled quite a lot in the early and mid 2000’s, and nothing in the US is like what we have on the Gulf Coast. It’s fucking brutal.

And the winters are shit too. Anyone who stays here for a decent length of time says that the 45° days we sometimes get feel colder. “Hurr durr, it must be the humidity.” It’s actually due to acclimation. With the retarded temperature swings we get due to the jet stream, it can be 70° for two days then 45° for a few. The fucked up part is it takes ten days to acclimate to cold weather but only three to acclimate to warm weather, so you literally never have enough time to get used to the “cold” temps here. It will be in the 40’s but feel like the 20’s. Oklahoma fags no what I’m talking about. They get it even worse.

Also hurricanes.

Sun allergy is just not going out in the sun regularly enought and using synthetic sun block. Your skin needs to adapt to rising UV rays. If you go out in high june for 12h hikes after sitting in your basement since september, you're too will get sun allergy - which isn't a true allergy.

Stop using sun blcok and start going into the sun from spring on, rising in the amount of time. Your skin must first build up a melanin shield. Your ancestors simply didn't stay indoors as much as you and got their shield build up in early spring already. Sun block will only prevent this and make you less able to handle the later sun.
