i have the bear grylls survival hatchet. im pretty confident after watching youtube that it's the only piece of gear I need for a rainy weekend in the mountains. has anyone else used this miraculous tool?

No, I would not recommend this hatchet. The rubber handle is thick and too grippy, and it does not slip comfortably into the anus. I find the edges and corners unrefined, and also too sharp to comfortably insert into the anus. The edge geometry and honing was adequate, but the steel is a little hard and chippy, which is not good if you want to slide it into your anus.
Would not recommend.

This particular tool looks like a gimmick, but the bear grylls knife is actually an incredibly solid product. I wish I could buy literally the same thing, but without the BG branding and orange design, because its a solid knife.
