>>1933810I had some cheap off brand ones from Tractor Supply when I was shoveling horse shit and other random tasks at a barn all day for a few months. They were fine for keeping the shit out. I wouldn't recommend whatever ones I had for hiking unless it's going to be through a lot of mud the whole way, but they were fine for water, snow, mud, and manure. Looking at their online store maybe they were Dunlops, but it was a few years ago so idk they definitely weren't more than $50 though.
I would just figure out if you have an actual purpose for those vs any other pair of boots that might look and feel better. If you live in a city or suburb you probably won't get a lot of use from them unless you're going to be in some muck for an extended period of time regularly for work/hobbies, but they might be handy to own. I haven't used my not-Mucks in years as other footwear has been more useful now that I'm not working at a barn.
