I remember a few touring bicycling threads here and there back when the board started. Shortly thereafter, I left for a 76 day bicycle trip from the Pacific ocean in Oregon to the Atlantic in Virginia.
This thread is to share some pictures, some information, and answer questions/discuss bicycle touring. I'll probably dump a handful of pictures a day for a while.
Starting with a picture which has my bike in it from White Bird Hill in Idaho. This was my favorite climb of the trip (and the rest of my bicycling career) because a new road along the side of the cliffs kept the traffic off the windy, gentler old roads.
