>>1936459I went 1 week ago today, Thursday 12th.
I did the route from alby to tyresta but backwards right through the national park, it is stage 3 of a larger route trail called Sörmlandsleden.
The trail is very easy to follow as the trees are marked with an orange band spray painted around them along the way. I began at about 9:30am and saw about a dozen people around near tyresta village. I actually cut the route 1km short at ended at Nyfors because the bus stopped there, here I saw about 10 people around just like at the beginning. So the beginning and ends of the trail were a bit populous but everything inbetween was desolate fortunately. In the middle of the trail I saw 4 guys. I was sat on an outcropping of rock going into a lake and I spotted 2 guys on the opposite side, we waved to each other and took it in turns screaming at one another. Something I observed which ive never heard before was that by the lakes if you made a loud sound you can hear it reverberate through the forest its very strange. When your there whistle a loud shrill of a tone by a lake and you will know what I mean. The other 2 people were these seemingly fat mexicans just waddling along the path.
One thing to keep in mind is that wild camping anywhere u please isnt allowed in Tyresta, instead they have areas like pic related with signs say fires and camping is allowed. These areas have suitable ground for pitching a tent if thats what you're doing. Pic related had a toilet and firepit, there isnt much shit strewn everywhere like foliage and trees unlike the rest of the forest where it would take a bit of looking before you found a suitable campsite. No one will catch you camping outside of the authorised areas and as long as you leave no trace and are careful with a fire then dont worry about it.
I brought some camping gear when I moved here so if your looking for an /out/ buddy to go with then im down.
