In the pursuit of greater yields and easier processing, selective breeding has raised gluten levels and simplified the array of amino acids. You now literally cannot live on bread and water.
Older more diverse breeds, such as einkorn and emmer, form almost complete proteins and contain higher concentrations of minerals. They also are less likely to aggravate celiacs and are fucking delicious.
(Not that I study there. I just follow their work while tending my 10x20 crossbreeding patch.)

You can still buy wholemeal bread. Also if it really bothers you then buy a hand crank or electric grist mill. Mill your own wheat and make your own bread.

Kraft bowls are kind of a rip off. Their big bowl is just 3.5oz. Also it's easy as hell to emulate. You can find a lb of boxed elbow macaroni for around a buck. Then on Amazon I buy this powdered cheese for around $10. The ratio for a normal sized box of KD is about 6 oz of dry pasta to 1.5 oz of powder. I'd up the powder to 2oz though if you were measuring it out. I demand only the cheesiest.
