hey /out/ so I'm thinking about going camping for a week or two because I'm tired of just larping and lurking on this board, and the forest has always fascinated me. thing is, though, I've literally never camped before. so I'm thinking of going up north towards either oklahoma or colorado (I'm from texas) and camping in a winter forest for a bit. I have two questions, now: Is this a really stupid idea, and should i ease into it another way? And what would I realistically need? I don't want to spend a lot of money on a bunch of gear I won't even use. Many thanks in advance.
