>>1938478A Sammick Sage or a Soutwest Archery Spyder (The Spyder is just an upgraded version of the Sage really) goes for about 115 - 140$.
Bow 140$
Fingertab/Glove 15$
Armguard 15$
Arrows 100$ for 12 depending on quality. Go for cheaper because you're probably going to lose/break a few at first.
DIY cardboard box target. Big cardboard box and just fill it with old pillows, compacted plastic bags, soft trash etc.
It shouldnt cost you more than 300$ to get going and having a good time for a solid while.
Protip. Dont start with anything that has a draw weight above 35lb. You'll just ruin your shoulders within a week and you wont be able to shot for a while. And you'll develop poor form and technique and your accuracy will suffer because you'll expend all your energy on just keeping the bow at full draw. So many dufuses buy these heavy weight 50-70 lb bows because they think
>"I'm a big guy, I can handle this. If some 5 foot nothing Ching Chong II from HungDong in 1324 AD could handle a 100lb warbow then I can handle a 70lb one."No you cant, you have never shot a bow before, you dont have the technique, the muscles specifically trained for nor the form and knowledge how to properly use one without hurting yourself.
