I'm going to be spending a lot of this winter living in my car. I have a full time job and net about $1600/month. Rent starts around $900/month here for a 1 bedroom (utilities not included). Even if it were somehow possible to micro-manage and squeeze my paycheck right down to the last drop to come out even, I simply will not pay more than $600/month (gas and water included) for rent.
Winter around here averages around 10-20 freedom units, but occasionally drops as low as -10f. What clothing can I obtain for cheap that will allow me to sleep in my car at these temps without developing frostbite?
