Some /out/ options that are cheaper and I can attest to their quality:
Spyderco Endura 4 FRN. Lock is strong, blade is a little longer, it's more comfortable when holding, VG-10 isn't worst than S30V for all intents (no one will be able to tell the difference unless they're doing a rope cut test), and it looks nicer. Not as fidget friendly, though. Good /out/ knoife, and what I usually have on me when in the bush. They come in purple and orange colors too; I like obnoxious scales.
Ontario RAT 1. Good basic reliable linerlock that feels good in your hand. AUS-8 is fine. Good /out/ knoife. Used one a lot. Orange scales are an option.
Cold Steel Finn Wolf. Very strong lock and a Scandinavian grind which you don't find on folders much. Good for making those feather sticks. Basically a folding Mora. I've used one quite a bit /out/. They make orange and red too.
