I nominate the Arc'teryx BETA SV.
I own a BETA AR but dislike the hood and wish I'd gone for the BETA SV. I got the BETA AR as it was heavily reduced on sale and it's a fine jacket but I feel it's let down by its hood in extreme conditions.
The BETA SV doesn't seem so widely stocked as the BETA AR and I've yet to find it at a decent sale price.
