You must backpack this entire (approximate) loop, beginning and ending at A. Your journey begins on September 1. You may take up to 18 months to complete your journey, but may do it more quickly if you please.
You may not interact with people or accept aid from them. You may not buy anything until you finish the loop back to A and finish. You may hunt, fish, and forage for any plants/animals and you will not run afoul the law for doing any of this on any land on the route. You may cut down trees and other flora and build anything out of them, and will similarly be immune to any laws concerning such behavior.
You are give 10,000 dollars to buy everything you're carrying or wearing. Every single thing: down to socks and clothes. Any leftover money not spent on gear is lost. You can't sell anything after your journey.
(You may not buy or bring any animal companions. If you can somehow tame an animal, that's fine.)
