>>1955227>>1955227Hmm we drove around Cumberland a bit earlier this year and it seemed like the town had fallen on hard times which had nothing to do with DC or failed tourism but maybe perhaps more demographics and lack of diversification in the economy. I mean, it was not the most scenic town and a bit disappointing but maybe I didn't see the right part.
>instead of getting insane homeless methheads off the streetsThere are far, far more insane homeless drug addicts on the streets in DC than anywhere I have seen in Western MD or WV. I have just never seen the supposed junkies roaming the streets that everyone warns me about, and like we visit some pretty down and out hollers as well.
Also, you may not like it, but homeless people have a right to be outside and you can't just lock them up if they are not homicidal/suicidal and haven't committed a crime. But again, I've basically never seen homeless or drug addict people roaming around appalachia.
