Water: for drinking. In the long term it's better to buy it
Shelter: being a hobo in warm climate is doable with a tent; in cold ones not so much. To stay healthy you need to stay clean: visit gyms that offer showers or go to a river. Buy soap and detergents to clean your gear.
Food: it's impossible to find enough food in the wild to survive. You'll be buying almost all of it.
I don't know how much those needs will cost you - it depends on where do you live and chances are we're from different countries. But as a rule of a thumb: calculate how much money those needs require and double it. If you don't have a source of income or a job which you can do through the internet I wouldn't bother.
