I'll be straight up: I'm a young husband and father getting closer and closer to the dream of being able to outright buy a rural piece of land with the intention of becoming self-sufficient (on account of the world rapidly going to shit).

Thing is, it will be learnt from scratch. Neither myself or my wife grew up rurally.

So - is this the board to be on to learn about and share ideas surrounding hunting, prepping and homesteading? Hoping so.
