I live in Bosnia and we have a lot of chinese and turkish clothes on market places, similar to Istanbul bazaars, but way smaller. I don't know if you have that kind of markets or shops in Switzerland, but I've bought some nice bushcraft pants under $50 here.

Just exploit the system like half of Switzerland does. Also you don't need some Ski pants for bushcrafting, I got a Hunter pants on sale for 50€ and they are perfect. Even milsurp BW pants are enough.

For trekking you can literally wear any sports trouser. A pair of track pants are perfect (light, bit of wind resistance, dry very fast) they just don't look like £150 Lundhags/Fjallravens. They are not good for bushcraft though as you wouldn't want them near a fire or for bushwacking.

That's why every year they come out with new stuff that has the exact same name as the old stuff except it's completely different.
E.g.: pants, 2019 model, 100% polyester. 2020? 80% cotton.

If it's like 50 euros or lower, as some other anon already said, go to Decathlon's site and buy whatever is close to your price range.
Decathlon's hunting section has nice pants for bushcraft LARPing. (cotton, thicker fabric, olive green)

Preferably somewhere that's not full of people, which is a lot to ask for in this country I know.
Feels like all the good spots are covered by city-tourists.
Me personally, I've gone to the Northern Jura parts which are kinda close to me and they're nice, but the best parts of the Jura are further West and South.
I've also gone on multiple day trips to the alps, but those were very much filled with tourists.
So where the hell in this country is it empty and not full?

wool trousers are terrible as external pants. yes they're nice and warm but by themselves easy to damage and will get soaked quick. wool should be the baselayer cover it with something sturdy and waterproof

Wool fucking sucks as a base layer. It retains heat like an oven. You have to find the flattest spot on your climb to stop, undo your pack, strip your wool layer off, redress, and then resume climbing. The wool meme is the gayest shit ever pushed by indoor larpers.

I dont climb, but for hiking and cycling (not pushing myself to extemes) it has served me well, when I open or take off my jacket the wool is thin enough to let through bunch of air cooling me down but also still give some warmth to not be too cold.
