Is living in an RV instead of a cabin based?
Considering buying land near the Rockies and building a cabin VS getting and RV for the same amount of $ and hit the road.
Class A RV living
> can travel everywhere in North America (SHTF proofed)
> can change neighbors
> can renovate inside like house
> 450 sqft max
> no workshop, no shed, no garage
> fully off-the-grid
> losing $ value
> 150k usd
Cabin in the woods
> cannot move (bad when SHTF)
> building permits, bureaucracy
> stuck with neighbors
> stuck with views, weather, bills
> lots of own space around
> gaining $ value
> 150k usd
What am I missing? What would you take and why?
