The Jimny is a fantastic vehicle and is literally unbeatable in its class. But to say that it'll 'beat' any full size 4x4 is a joke. Have you ever been offroad in a SWB vehicle? They're extremely limited in rampover angles as well as overall lift. To be honest, serious offroading (i.e. rock crawling) is fucking terrifying in smaller vehicles. Way more prone to rolling and scraping.
The Jimny is also effectively useless for touring given their small size and GVM. No way you're doing the Canning Stock Route in one unless you carry fuel and literally nothing else. Long term car camping is also out of the question unless you're 100% self sufficient by the second week.
Don't get me wrong, they're amazing bush vehicles and I'll be looking to buy one as a weekender once the supply issues are sorted out and they start to go for their originally advertised price. But you can't ignore the significant drawbacks that come with owning a small 4x4
