I don't go innawoods often, but I do grow a lot of fruit and vegetables and have a very bad reaction to wasp and bee stings and I just can't risk a day's worth of productivity.
The venom pump fits over most stings and bites and removes the pain and itch from the area by sucking out the venom. I've sucked out a few bad spider bites which I am sure would have festered without the pump. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on fingers, toes, earlobes or nostrils due to the suction cups not fitting (I have indeed been bitten and stung in all of these places) but everywhere else is great. You need a friend to help if you get stung on the back though.
