Even if the wood is 80% water by weight. I don't have any external fuel. It has to perpetuate itself, and leave no trace even if some stuff in the fire does not burn at.less than 2000F? How do!?

First you're gonna have to get wood that's less wet. You can find some under other debris. If your working with wood that's that wet. You can try to cut it an try where it's not as damp. The rest is pretty easy to figure out. There's a guy on youtube that has a great tutorial on making a fire in the rain.
