Perfect for lakes and ponds. Hard to track straight when paddling hard. Throw in a current in a river and you just keep going sideways all the time.

I’m a whitewater boater.
Have used a couple of different types.
Took down some pretty staunch rapids, handled remarkably well.
Sally is without question the best inflatable available.

I bought a large dry bag to carry it in, got a separate collapsible oar, and a new bike-style pump for it. I could carry a life vest in the 120liter dry bag along with everything else, and then tie the dry bag onto the back with my shoes and phone and whatnot in it. Was able to bike my bag down to the lake/canals and take off wherever, and then get back on foot with my bag on my back.

I actually own the one in your pic. It's kind of a piece of garbage, but kayaking in general is fun. Inflatables are good if you're in an apartment or just generally don't have the space for a traditional one, but they still get the job done. They're good if you're just floating along a slow current but I wouldn't take one fishing.

Depends on what you’re running I guess, but at work we have 15yo rafts, and if I get a year out of my safety boat the boss is stoked.
I hope he doesn’t discover anything good, it will put an end to my lifetime supply of free creekers patched with ice cream lids and Gorilla Glue. (Neither of which last more than a few runs by the way)

I would assume fishing would ruin an inflatable with getting into the reeds and running hooks up agains the hull. But if you just want to go explore they work. My retarded cousin hasn't drowned yet.

Went on a three day trip with a decathlon brand 3 seater. Was big enough for two dudes and camping equipment. 3d dude had the one in the picture. Surprisingly fast, keeps the line because it has a keel but had a Hole on day three. Dude was half paddling/half pumping all the time cause we couldnt find the leak. decathlon one has about 1000 km on it and didnt break

My housemate and I both biught this green kayak. Has worked great so far, feels great to kick our feet up and chill. The fin is very import so you're not constantly rotating and unstable. You can't row super fast, but that has more to do with the paddles. Pretty great/10 in my opinion.
