Disclaimer: Some of the ingredients in the bag I had to substitute or guess so it's not going to be accurate! I also have not eaten the bag yet! My plan is to try it tomorrow night and post results back here if the thread is still up.
So here it goes:
>1 dehydrated russet potato>~56g of dehydrated beef [cooked in corn oil and Montreal steak seasoning]>2 dehydrated carrots>~50g of dehydrated peas>1/2 tsp of corn starch>1/4 tsp of bread yeast [kept in a separate container]>1tsp of all-purpose flour [substituted for wheat gluten]>100g of pinto beans [substituted for onions protein and basedbean oil] [also kept in a separate bag]>1/2 tsp of sugar>1/2 of a dehydrated onion>1tsp of salt>1tsp of ground black pepper [substituted for spices]>1 bay leaf [substituted for spices]>2 cloves of garlic [substituted for garlic powder]Together, without the beans, it comes out to be heavier than the other bags (180g compared to 122g and 140g(actually close to 160g)) likely due to everything being dehydrated rather than freeze dried. But what it lacks in lack-of-weight, I hope it gains in tasting similar, if not better, than the freeze dried, will be easier on my wallet, and will grant me more space in the pack than using those fucking big awkward, sharp-edged bags.
If any anons have suggestions, feel free to reply. I want to get better at this.
