It's just something that's been on my mind lately and I thought I'd ask for some input. What do you think boys?
A few places I've considered...
· Alaska/ Montana/ Wyoming
- decents gun laws
- shorter growing season/ colder winters
- not too sure on land prices, some I'm sure is expensive, but also probably some deals to be had
- things are remote and spread out/ less crowding
- maybe some decent communities of like minded and self sustainabe people
· Ozark/ Smokie mountains
- land is pretty pricey thanks to vacation homes and yuppies
- various gun laws depending on state
- longer growing season
- also some decent communities with like minded folks, but also some pretty obnoxious types as well.
· south america/ potentially another 3rd world country
- shit gun laws
- tropical weather
- by far the most affordable
- will always be a gringo even if you become a citizen
- need spanish
- buying land in foreign country is risky
- women are typically more traditional, but at the same there are those who are "gringo hunters"
