>>1985854Yeah before my mind was infected with Youtube bullshit I carried a 2,99 folding saw and an sak when I was out fucking around with my friends. The saw was wicked sharp and cleared anything in my way, we were mostly exploring but also fucked with fire once or twice.
Anyways here's what I carry right now in my daily life.
-Böker Para 1 inside my waistband is a nice edc that I save for emergency use so it's sharp when I really need it. Also its really unassuming and doesn't take up pocket space or di g up my shit.
- Spyderco paramilitary 2 in s110v my go to when I know there's gonna be cutting to be done, wicked sharp and holds an edge real nice main drawback is that by the time it's dull I've lost my muscle memory in sharpening.
-Sak explorer sits in my day pack and shines whenever I can't take my other knives or when I need to cut my nails.
-Maglite pro plus led nifty little light with two light modes and a nice holster that's optional. Reliable but the petroleum jelly is not a joke, you should not neglect that, especially on the models with a turn switch. My first one got really hard going after like 5-6 years so I bought a new one. Later found out it worked just after apllying some jelly so now I have one in the car too. This one also goes in my day pack but I also have a bike mount for it.
Also have a mora, the aforementioned saw, and the og sak I got as a kid which has a very worn blade now and that I don't want to risk being confiscated anymore cause it would be a bummer to lose it if I found myself in a situation where I had to enter a restricted area. Additionally a fiskars x15, a German axehead from the 30s I found in the trash and handled myself and a hatchet. All of that shit is still packed up because I only use it on major outings and moved just recently.
