I like it. It certainly has helped me to appeciate the old way of doing things.

Though most of it is not /out/ related, there are sometimes useful articles that are. Like the recent ones about knife making. And I recall there being one about handling an axe.

Usually, the articles don't go as in depth to teach you the entire skill. But they lay the groundwork and often inspire me to find out more on other sources.

Other times, it's just fun to read.

I recommend it for anyone who doesn't take things for granted.

Most articles are fun to read and it opens you up for topics that you'd never given thought before.
Trying bushcraft is worthless, dangerous even, if you don't have the knowledge to back up what you're doing.

Pretty shitty. I was into that when I was 15 but as time has passed I've grown beyond it. I learned all the outdoor skills I need in Boy Scouts, so I don't need the site for that; I don't need to or like dressing like a businessman so I don't seek fashion advice.

The thing I like least about it is that it pushes an archaic ideal of masculinity. Times have changed and men have changed with it. Plus there's a lot of 1950s fetishism, which is absurd. The 1950s were an awful time.

I feel like youre slightly pulling my leg here. But I don't care. Safety is a very important aspect in bushcraft. You should know what to do in most situations. You could easily cut yourself or break a leg or something like that. Or try eating those elderberries raw.
Even then, when I do bushcraft it's my goal to live as comfortable as possible. Turning it in a survival situation is the last thing I want. So I do everything to prevent it.
