>>1990268Yeah that's me.
I bush wacked a trail through cactus, mesquite in easterly direction far /out/ past the edge of my small town.
Spent like 8 hours over three days cleaning a new trail away from anywhere people can see me walking.
When I was a kid this used to be an old landfill area. Dumploads of old concrete foundations and brick and iron got laid out in big clearing back then.
It was my favorite place for kids to play at because there was always some new piles of demolition piled everyday.
Now 20+ years later you can't see it because it's overgrown into a mesquite forest and all the roads there are blocked off.
But I cut a very nice secretive trail through it on my way heading east twords some low hills 3 miles past it. A biggly rain cache pond also a popular destination when we was kids.
This is so cool. To walk these places as an adult and appreciate it more.
All the kids that used to play are all dead now or in prison or addicts n drunks.
Ah well better them than me I guess.
