39L V12, 525hp, room for everyone.
Can't find the vid, but I saw a walkthrough of one of these the other day, had several bedrooms, kitchen and a shower - and that's just the standard military setup.
Oh, and it's 8WD.
If I had $30K to burn, it would already be on the way.

Not the one I saw the other day, but same thing.
OP, it would be irresponsible for you NOT to get one fo these.
It's a MAZ 543 by the way. There's a version with one of those cabs on each side which is pretty badass.
Would be fucking sweet to drive one from Capetown to Canada.

Why not get something cute and exponentially more /out/ then those shit-bricks
You can be much more manoeuvrable
You dont need the extra room
Overall more versalite because you can leave the trailer
More duel efficient
And easier to park when going into town for supplies

Its ideal really, if you thonk about it

There's a guy in town that has one, I want to ask him one day if it was a cheaper option for him due to connections or if it was just due to it being way less work.

Why not look into something easy to find in your country?
Because you're going to need parts for the thing. Just because it's running doesn't mean it's in great shape. (e.g.: my car is running, yet it sputters and has holes on the floor and on the roof)
That being said, there's not much choice when it comes to 4x4 trucks with enough space to live in.

A SUSV! Haven't seen these in forever. Only cool thing I did in the army was Mountain Warfare school in Vermont. In winter phase you get to ride in these things. They are so cozy and warm. You basically split the platoon into thirds;

One third xcountry skiis ahead to scout
One third operate vehicle/turret/radio, dismount when stopped
One third sleeps.

You can run 24/7 nearly uninterrupted patrols in these silly fuckers.

I sometimes see one of those around my town.
Red truck, didn't see it in 2020, but saw it a few times in 2018 and 2019.
I have no idea how the guy justifies driving that thing around town to himself.
Well...if I had the money for one, for maintenance and for the fuel...I know how I would justify it. But that's beside the point.
