College freshman here. For some context, I have two years' experience in academic geology (at some pretty damn prestigious institutions, too) but am a bit burnt out; I'm the /sci/ type, and geology is cool as shit, but I get stressed whenever I think about rocks now for some reason.
In spite of this, I don't want to be stuck in a cubicle all my life; I'd much rather be working outside, traveling new places, and seeing places that are untouched and beautiful, all while earning a good paycheck if possible. Are there any careers aside from geology that satisfy these wants? I'd be happy to go back to geology, but want to see what my options are.
