Hi /out/. I'm interested, is being eco-friendly important to you guys? A pretty basic example, do you have a reusabal water bottle? Have you switched to any zero-waste, plastic free, or environmentally sustainable options in your everyday life? Do you compost? Etc. Why or why not?

I do what I can.
Reuse > Recycle, if I have the option I won't be doing anything non-ecofriendly. But I won't go out of my way for it.

I live in a poor Eastern Euro country, so being eco-friendly is something I can't afford.
We don't even have sorted trash here, so there's no point in "recycling" (the Gov installed some sorted bins but people didn't give a fuck and as it turns out it still goes to the landfill lmao).

So I keep it on a personal level and just try to get as much out of anything as I can. If something stops working for its intended purpose I will find another use for it before I throw it away.

I have very similar practices. I've recently been trying to avoid buying plastic packaging altogether but it can be incredibly difficult (or expensive.)

Eco-nazis should all be culled by /out/doormen to save the planet. There isn't a single thing they do that is good for nature and thats why they do it. anything environmentally friendly i do is more because it helps me than helps the planet. reusable things and minimal consumption is cheaper. sorting into a recycling bin just means i spend less on trash bags. otherwise it is too late and unless there is some radical change in worldwide policy anytime soon weve fucked the planet beyond repair anyways.

whats good is the planet is still stronger than us and will self correct by wiping us out. so got that to look forward too.

I just don't litter. Stuff that goes in the trash here is either harmlessly burnt or shipped to china where it probably goes into the oceans, but they're fucked anyway so yeah. Same goes for the climate, so I use all the energy I can pay for. I'm poor and I don't do plane travel so I probably consume less energy than the average ecofag anyway.
