>>2013114Look into classical painting. The Atelier schools and the russian schools are the only ones that have kept classical painting alive. I used to have a screencap about how economics, the bauhaus movement, marxist ideals and rich trust fund kiddies all colided in the 60s and universities stopped teaching classical art because there was no longer a demand for it. An old art professor managed to inspire multiple classes of kids with some basic anatomy skills he picked up when he was in university, then approached the board asking to have classical painting put on the syllabus. He found that the board genuinely wanted to do so after they had heard how interested the students were, but they simply didn't know anybody who still taught the classical forms. All the old guard had died out and nobody had picked the torch up from them. And with post-2010 university culture, I'm guessing this kind of art would be "too eurocentric" and "uninclusive of marginalized minority voices" or something. Fortunately, the Russians and the Atelier autists never forgot the old ways. Good luck Anon.
